Ingredients
- 500 g plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 150 g margarine
- 1 egg
- 25 g dried yeast
- 200 g kefir
- 50 g cheddar cheese
- more cheese for the top
Method
Put all ingredients in a bowl, and mix it together. Knead it with your hands or with a machine. Leave it for 30 minutes. After this time roll out the dough and fold it 3 times. Finally roll it out 1 inch tall, and use a circle cutter to make the scones. Place them on a tray next to each other, wash them with an egg and put some cheese on the top. Leave them for another 30 minutes. Heat the oven for 180C / 160C degrees. Bake them for 20-30 minutes. Let them cool before you eat them, and enjoy!
